PUBLIC NOTICE

FORECLOSURE NOTICE

Default being made in payment of the mortgage ex- ecuted the 22nd day of July, 2015, by Bell Funeral Home, Inc. to J. L. Lane Lending, LLC, recorded in the Office of the Judge of Probate of Dallas County, Ala- bama, in RLPY 1526, Page 136, the said J. L. Lane Lending, LLC, under the power of sale contained in said mortgage, will sell at auction for cash to the high- est bidder at the entrance of the County Courthouse in Selma, Alabama, during legal hours of sale on the 14th day of September, 2026, the following described real estate embraced in said mortgage, situated in the County of Dallas, State of Alabama, to-wit: Parcel No. 1:
Lot in the Plattenburg Addition to The City of Selma, Alabama, described as follows, to-wit: Beginning at a point on the South side of Minter Street 85 feet and 6 inches from the corner formed by the intersection of the west margin of Franklin Street with the south mar- gin of Minter Avenue, and running thence along the south margin of Minter Avenue, west for 42 feet and 6 inches; thence at right angles, on a line parallel with Franklin Street, 105 feet; thence at right angles and on a line parallel with Minter Avenue; East 42 feet and 6 inches; thence north on a line parallel with Franklin Street, 105 feet to Minter Avenue, at the point of begin- ning; the same being a part of Lot 2, of Block “G” of The Plattenburg Addition, to Selma, Alabama; and;

Parcel No. 2:

Beginning on the south side of Minter Avenue at a point 128 feet west of the intersection of the south margin of Minter Avenue with the west margin of Franklin Street, and from said point running westwardly, along the south margin of Minter Avenue, 42 feet and 6 inches, more or less, to an alley or street; thence run south- wardly along the east margin of said alley or street 205 feet and 3 inches, more or less; to an alley; thence run eastwardly, along the north margin of said alley for 85 feet and 6 inches, more or less, to Lot No. 1 of Block “G”; thence run northwardly along the dividing line be- tween Lots 1 and 2 of said Block “G” 100 feet, more or less, to the SE corner of the lot formerly owned by T. L. A. Thomlinson; thence westwardly along the south line of said Thomlinson lot and parallel with Minter Avenue 42 feet and 6 inches, more or less; thence at right an- gles northwardly, parallel with Franklin Street, 105 feet and 3 inches, more or less, to the point of beginning.
