NOTICE OF ADOPTION PROCEEDINGS

Notice to:
CASEY MARIE BURTON,
RUSSELL ALFRED AUSTIN and ANY UNKNOWN FATHER OF D.M.C.

Please take notice that a Petition for Adoption of D.M.C., a minor child born June 21, 2024, to Casey Marie Burton was filed on the 28th day of August 2026, in the Probate Court of Cullman County by Petitioners Daniel Lee Swindoll and Charlotte Louise Svenson Swindoll. If you should contest this adoption, you must file a written response within thirty (30) days of the date of the last publication herein with counsel for said Petitioners, whose name and address are as shown below, and with the Clerk of the said Probate Court of Cullman County, Alabama, 500 2nd Avenue SW, Cullman, Alabama 35055. If you fail to respond within thirty (30) days, the court may construe that failure as an implied consent to the adoption of the minor child and as a waiver of the right to appear and of further notice of the adoption proceedings. Additionally, if the adoption is approved, your parental rights, if any, pertaining to the minor child will be terminated by the adoption proceedings.
